From a fashion atelier to the confectionery that now sweetens Puerto Rico.
Cookie Couture was born from a second passion. After a lifetime dedicated to fashion design and the creation of women's clothing, new doors opened to another love: baking.
It all started in the same sewing workshop. With the fabrics and materials we already had on hand, we began to create fabric bags that we filled with our artisanal lemon and ginger cookies. This is how the name Cookie Couture emerged: a blend of our love for fashion and baking.
Those little bags became favorites for corporate gifts and special event favors. Little by little, we created more: flavors from our island like lemon, orange, and pumpkin gave way to desserts, cakes, and treats.
Today, we are a small family business dedicated to crafting, entirely by hand, all kinds of cakes, cookies, and desserts. Our signature is handmade meringue — from our Couture's Classic Merengue line to the more elaborate Extra Glam — alongside Puerto Rican classics like tres leches, guava, and coconut.
